⚠️ SAFETY RECALL NOTICE

Nutcase Street Mozaic MIPS bike helmets sold between March 2022 and July 2025 have a safety defect where the buckle can be removed from the strap, posing an injury risk.

About This Recall

A recall is underway for a batch of Nutcase Street Mozaic MIPS helmets because the buckle can be removed from the strap and pose an injury risk. This batch had slim folded strap ends that allow the buckle to be pulled off the strap. Standard helmets have the ends folded and sewn - making the end too large to allow the buckle to be pulled off.

Affected helmets were sold between March 2022 and July 2025 in various colors.

How to Check if Your Helmet is Affected

On the recalled helmets, the strap can be pulled all the way out of the buckle. To check if your Nutcase Street Mozaic MIPS helmet is part of this recall, compare the the loose end of your helmet strap to these photos:

❌ FAULTY STRAP (Part of Recall)

Signs of defect: Flat fold that can be slipped out of the buckle.

✅ NORMAL STRAP (Not Part of Recall)

Normal condition: Strap folded and sewn so it cannot be slipped out of the buckle.

What to Do if Your Helmet is Affected

1. Stop using the helmet if it has the thin folded strap end like in the first photo.

2. Bring your helmet to our store for inspection and repair

If you can't bring it to us, email the Australian distributor JetBlack Products at info@jetblackproducts.com to arrange a repair.

Either way, affected helmets will be repaired or replaced at no cost to you.
