Our journey has been quite the adventure! After years of working overseas in development and environmental projects, we returned to Tasmania with a single goal: to make a difference. Back then, electric bikes weren’t even a thing in Tassie, so we saw a perfect opportunity to fill that gap. But we didn’t want to stop there—our vision was bigger. We dreamed of creating an eco-store that would bring together a wide range of sustainable products, all in one place.
Making the leap from selling bikes to opening an eco-store wasn’t easy. It took hard work, investment, and plenty of research. When our friend and business partner opened the store, it was a huge relief -even though we still didn’t quite feel ready.
Seeing Teros blossom through everyone’s hard work has been so amazing. When we were recognised for this work by winning the Australia Post Local Business Hero award, it was such a proud moment. But I’d have to say the best part of the journey has been building strong relationships with our customers. It’s so fulfilling knowing that we are making a positive impact on the world together.
