After 12 wonderful years with Teros, the time has come for us, Mel and Ahmet, to retire - and for new owners to take Teros forward into its next chapter.
When we opened our doors on Elizabeth Street back in 2014, we hoped Teros would help people find inspiration and ways to live with love for the earth, no matter where they were in their journey.
What we didn't quite expect was how deeply that hope would be returned to us by you, our incredible customers.
So, we want to sincerely thank you. Your loyalty, encouragement and belief in Teros helped build something special – a local business that has brought delight, inspired curiosity, and made a positive difference to our planet and the way we live.
Your purchases also allowed us and many of our brands to give back – helping the Tasmanian Land Conservancy purchase five conservation reserves and supported the Environment Defenders Office, the Bob Brown Foundation and other environment groups across Tasmania and the mainland.
We're now looking for the right new owner to carry Teros forward: someone who shares its values and ethos. We're taking our time to find the right fit, and we'll keep you updated as this next chapter unfolds. In the meantime - nothing changes. The store is open, the team is here, and we're even working on a new website and e-bike service system. We're just as committed to helping you live a little greener, one product (or e-bike) at a time.
